Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy for Individuals and Couples
"Humanity's legacy of stories and storytelling is the most precious we have. All our wisdom is in our stories and songs. A story is how we construct and understand our own experience." -Doris Lessing

How We Can Work Together
There is so much to both grieve and to love in this world of ours: our personal stories, family histories, trouble with loved ones, political, social and climate emergencies no less rapidly shifting paradigms for how we identify as human beings. You do not need to do all of it alone; my practice is for those who are creative, curious and innovative but struggling to learn to name their discomfort and understand how and where and what may get in the way of living most fully. My work is for people who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-acceptance and addictions but are nonetheless very often innovators, idealists, creatives. The only requirement for psychoanalytic and psychodynamic work is curiosity. Together, we approach “problems” or “diagnoses” as functions of the complexity faced in living. Our task is to find the parts of you which are most alive and, together, to help them be realized.
